Summer Fun

Anneliese and I went to the water park with our friend, Hannah, for four hours! In that time, we raced through the lazy river dragging each other along. We engaged in the craziest game of monkey in the middle known to mankind! At first, it was simple enough. Three older kids vs three younger kids. However, the younger ones seeking revenge, rallied reinforcements to come to their aid! Within moments, it was three against eight. Hannah, Anneliese, and I quickly found ourselves surrounded, but we prevailed! Who knew that a simple game such as monkey in the middle could bring so much laughter and fun:) To top off the afternoon, we enjoyed a refreshing icee. However, our day wasn't over yet. Anneliese made a delicious dinner consisting of french toast, fresh fruit, and sausages! Then, the fabulous four (Grace, Kristia, Anneliese, and I) headed to the movies to see Wonder Woman! Overall, it was a very enjoyable day, and not just because I got to do fun stuff,(though that's a bonus) but because I was able to spend it with people I love being with like my sisters and friends:)
